The backstory: There are definite perks to being a candymaker. Watching people smile after tasting something you just made, or seeing the look on someone's face when they open a box of their favorite chocolates. But getting to name your own candy is high on the list!

In 1983 my dad made a new item. It had a layer of each caramel & marshmallow, dipped in chocolate and topped with chopped roasted almonds. And when he needed a name, he called them Laurenettes, after his newest granddaughter!

Laurenettes are a layer of our vanilla caramel topped with a layer of vanilla marshmallow, covered in milk or dark chocolate and topped with roasted chopped almonds.

Dairy, Soy, Almonds (this item can be made without almonds, by request, it cannot be made dairy free)
