Halvah (or Halva) is one of those delights that people either know & LOVE or never heard of before! It’s a dessert with roots in the middle east, central asia & eastern europe - each with its own ingredients & flavor profiles.
We are proud to work with another Brooklyn family business, Joyva, to offer you our chocolate covered Halvah. Made with a 50% base of crushed sesame seeds, or tahini & a few simple ingredients, brings you a fudge-like confection.
Varieties
We take a loaf shaped block of Joyva Halvah, slice and cut into squares and dip (completely or open-faced) in milk or dark chocolate.
We also offer halvah stuffed figs and dates, covered in dark chocolate and topped with pecans.
