Caramel Nut Patties: vanilla caramel in a bed of nuts, half covered in milk or dark chocolate.
The story: I remember nut patties as a young boy. My dad used to cook the caramel, and then working with a metal funnel, he would quickly pump out dollops of hot caramel onto a bed of nuts. All these years later, I still make them the same way.
