Halvah (or Halva) is one of those delights that people either know and LOVE or have never heard of before! It’s a dessert with roots in the middle east, central asia and eastern europe - each region with its own ingredients and flavor profiles.
We are proud to work with another Brooklyn family business, Joyva, to offer you our chocolate covered Halvah. Made with a 50% base of crushed sesame seeds, or tahini and a few simple ingredients, brings you a fudge-like confection. We take a loaf shaped block of Joyva Halvah, slice and cut into squares and dip (completely or halfway) in milk or dark chocolate. We also offer halvah stuffed figs and dates, covered in dark chocolate and topped with pecans.
